After the events, which occurred on January 8 in the town of San Francisco de Macorís, Duarte province, the Police of the Central American country captured a 17-year-old boy who would be accused of committing the crime together with Erandy González, who was identified following the arrest of the minor.
The Police raided the home of the captured minor and found a plastic bag with bloody clothing and a bloodstained napkin in it. Too a wallet was found that inside it contained documents and receipts that were property of the victim.
