The return of temperatures to rise is the most prominent feature of the weather forecast for Tuesday.
In this context, the General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Tuesday, temperatures to be high during the day in the central interior plains and the Mediterranean front.
Low clouds accompanied by foggy masses are expected to form during the morning and night, in the north of the eastern region, the oceanic plains and the southern coasts. Otherwise, the sky will be few to sometimes cloudy in the High and Anti-Atlas highlands and the northern southern regions, with scattered sand flurries in the eastern desert regions of the Kingdom.
The winds will be weak to moderate from the northern sector to variable in general.
Minimum temperatures will range between 20 and 25 degrees in the eastern desert regions of the Kingdom and Souss, between 04 and 10 degrees in the highlands of the Great and Mediterranean Atlantic, and between 08 and 14 degrees in the phosphate and diamond plateaus, the southeastern foothills, the eastern region, the countryside, and Sais, and between 12 and 19 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
As for temperatures during the day, they will rise significantly in the center and south of the Kingdom. The sea will be rampant to the strong rampage in the Mediterranean front, and a little rampage to the Bogaz and between Tantan and Boujdour, and a little rampage to the rest of the Atlantic coast.

**Interview with Meteorologist Dr. Samira El-Haj**
**Editor:** Dr. El-Haj, thank you for joining us today. With temperatures expected to rise significantly in Agadir this week, what can residents and visitors anticipate in terms of climate changes?
**Dr. El-Haj:** Thank you for having me. Indeed, we are forecasting a warm-up in temperatures, particularly during the day in the central and southern regions. Folks should be prepared for warmer conditions as we approach summer.
**Editor:** Given Agadir’s sub-tropical desert climate known for its hot dry summers and warm winters, how does this week’s weather pattern fit into what we usually expect for this time of year?
**Dr. El-Haj:** This week’s forecast is quite typical for this season, although we are seeing a pronounced increase in daytime highs. Typically, we expect gradual warming leading up to summer, but this surge might prompt some discussions among residents about climate variability.
**Editor:** Speaking of discussions, how do you think locals and vacationers should approach the potential discomfort of higher temperatures juxtaposed with the beauty of Agadir’s landscape?
**Dr. El-Haj:** That’s an interesting point! Some may argue that the rising temperatures bring about discomfort, while others might focus on the beauty of Agadir’s beaches and outdoor activities. This juxtaposition presents a fascinating debate: do the benefits of outdoor summer activities outweigh the challenges of dealing with extreme heat?
**Editor:** It’s certainly a thought-provoking point. How do you believe this temperature rise will impact outdoor events or tourism in the region?
**Dr. El-Haj:** Warmer temperatures can indeed invigorate tourism, particularly for beach lovers; however, it raises concerns for event organizers. Should they adjust their schedules to accommodate for cooler morning or evening activities? That’s a discussion worth having among local businesses and the community.
**Editor:** Absolutely, Dr. El-Haj. As we continue to witness these weather changes, it seems that the conversation on how we adapt and respond will be vital. What do you think the response might look like?
**Dr. El-Haj:** I anticipate a lot of differing opinions, especially when considering public health for vulnerable populations. The community might need to balance embracing tourism and ensuring safety in the heat. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
**Editor:** Thank you for sharing your insights today, Dr. El-Haj. To our readers, how do you feel about the rising temperatures in Agadir? Do they enhance your summer experiences, or do they pose challenges? Let’s hear your thoughts!
