There has been very little news regarding the series since Hideo Kojima left Konami, and if you ignore the newly released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 76f4451fc6364 Metal Gear Solid 3, the only new addition to the series is Metal Gear Survive , it received a cold reception from the more-or-less unified gaming world, to say the least.
