The resumption of international flights continues – Le Magazine du Manager

Ravinala Airports’ communications director, Sandrine Rahantamalala, the return to normal of international flights to and from Madagascar has continued since the reopening of the country’s air borders.

Three foreign airlines “joined air traffic from Madagascar to Antananarivo”, while “three other companies took over that of Nosy-Be (north), with five weekly frequencies for Air France and Air Madagascar”.

The director of communication specifies that “regarding twenty frequencies of regional flights are recorded per week on all the Malagasy territory”.

However, the rapid test (TDR) is compulsory for international travelers, in addition to “social and sanitary distancing measures such as confinement in a medical room”.

Since March 2020, Madagascar has closed its borders due to the Covid pandemic. The Government has authorized “a partial opening on March 5, 2022, with very limited flight frequencies”.
