On Tuesday 24 May, several exciting matches were held in the AFC Cup groups, which resulted in several teams qualifying for the semi-finals.
The Kuwaiti team, Al-Arabi, qualified for the semi-finals of the West Asian region, following leading the second group, following drawing with Dhofar of Oman 1-1 in the third round of the group.
Al-Arabi raised his score to 7 points at the top of the group, while Dhofar raised his score to 4 points in third place.
Bahrain’s Riffa won in the same group over the Palestinian youth of Hebron 3-1, to raise its score to 6 points in second place, while the loser remained at the bottom of the standings without credit.

In the first group, Al-Seeb of Oman qualified for the semi-finals in the West Asia region following its victory over the Lebanese Al-Ansar 4-0, raising its score to 6 points at the top of the standings, while the balance of the loser stopped at one point in fourth (last) place.
Jableh Al-Syrian tied negatively with Kuwait Al-Kuwait in the same group, so that the first raised its score to 4 points in third place, and the second raised its score to 5 points in second place.

In the third group competitions, Bahrain’s East Riffa qualified for the West Asian region semi-finals, following drawing 2-2 with Palestinian Hilal Al-Quds, as it secured the top of Group C.
Riffa raised its score to 5 points at the top of the standings, while Hilal Al-Quds raised its score to two points in the last fourth place.
In another match in the same group, the Syrian Tishreen defeated the Lebanese Nejmeh 3-1, to raise its score to 4 points in second place, with a goal difference in front of the third Nejmeh.

In Group D, Mohun Bagan of India qualified for the semi-finals of the regions following defeating Maziya Sports of Maldives 5-2, in the South Asian region, to lead the group with 6 points, ahead of direct confrontations once morest Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh, who beat Gokulam Kerala of India 2-1.
