Resident Evil 4 has a new ARG full of puzzles and mysteries for users to solve in an effort to get back the daughter of the President of the United States (codenamed Baby Eagle) before it’s too late.
Those interested in participating can head to the secure proxy portal at babyeagleismissing.com. There, they’ll find an urgent alert from Agent Green of the Northeast Secret Service division asking for help in kidnapping “Little Eagle” Ashley Graham.
Upon entering the site, users will be presented with a series of messages from different agents and will have access to top secret clues to help the case. They must analyze and decode the fragmented data to advise agents on the ground of their next moves.
One of the clues is a torn document that users must piece together to solve the first puzzle. The revealed answer must then be typed into the comment box to proceed to the next task, which involves cracking another code and unlocking the phone.
The ARG builds a backstory for Resident Evil 4 since the kidnapping of the US President’s daughter leads directly to the events of the video game, as Special Agent Leon Kennedy sets out on a mission to rescue “Baby Eagle” from a brutal cult in rural Europe.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5, PS4 and Xbox Series X | S and PC on March 23. It follows Capcom’s recent envisions on Resident Evil 2 and 3, retaining the core elements of the original game while adding updated gameplay and visuals.
