The remains of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin must be returned to the Mausoleum on Red Square, as most Russians recognize his merits in the formation of the Soviet state. This proposal was made by the head of the party “Communists of Russia” Sergei Malinkovich.
“It is necessary to organize the transfer of Stalin’s remains to the Mausoleum,” RIA Novosti quotes Malinkovich. He emphasized that such an action would not be superfluous, since the majority of Russians recognize Stalin’s merits in strengthening the Soviet state. The transfer of the remains must be carried out in a solemn atmosphere with the presence of the country’s leadership, Malinkovich added.
Earlier it was reported that the level of approval of Stalin’s rule reached historical maximum. More than half of Russians treat the leader with admiration, respect and sympathy.
