The release of the 2.5D adventure game is postponed, see you in 2023

Formalized in 2021 and present at the last edition of the Summer Game Fest, Flashback 2, the sequel to Paul Cuisset’s famous title released around 30 years ago will not finally arrive as planned next winter on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Microids announced that the 2.5D sci-fi adventure game will be released in 2023.

As explained on Twitterthe French publisher “has made the decision to postpone the launch of the game to 2023” for unknown reasons and that a “more precise release date will be communicated later” without further details. Also note that, once more according to Microids, the development team “Works hard to offer players an adventure worthy of this internationally renowned license for 30 years. »
