A source close to the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, told the “Arab Wood” program that she was released following being interrogated yesterday.
The source said that the investigation with her came according to a judicial warrant following her visit with her husband, Hossam Habib, the fugitive artist from justice, Fadl Shaker.
The source denied what was circulated regarding the hotel raid, as the matter took place quietly, especially since Sherine obtained a permit to enter Ain El-Hilweh from one of the security services.
Sherine will complete her vacation in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, until her next concert in Kuwait.
The Lebanese authorities had investigated Sherine because of her visit to the Lebanese artist, Fadl Shaker, who is fleeing from judicial rulings in the Ain El-Hilweh camp in Lebanon.
