V interview New York Times Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed that the relationship between Xbox and Activision Blizzard changed following the recent scandal.
Spencer reiterated that scandal reports within Activision Blizzard, he was “saddened and disgusted” and noted that “the past of the Xbox is also not perfect.”
Then he remembered the very party during Game Developers Conference 2016, which was attended by dancers dressed as schoolgirls. This unfortunate event taught the company how to be better, Spencer says, so he hopes he can help others fix it as well.
Unfortunately, exactly how the relationship between Xbox and Activision Blizzard has changed – Spencer did not reveal. However, he believes that “it is not his job to punish other campaigns for misconduct,” but shareholders and boards of directors can judge who is the CEO.
