The reason why Frank Cuesta may lose his animal sanctuary because of Yuyee: “I can’t take it anymore”

“Today I was told something that I had been suspecting for a long time and that is the biggest dirty trick that anyone could do to me. I am going to have to dedicate 200% to solving this problem in the next few months, so I won’t have much energy to fight it out on social media. As time goes by you will realise what it is… and it has nothing to do with health.” With this message at the end of last month through his Twitter account, Frank Cuesta worried his followers without revealing the reason for his anguish.

A reason that he revealed today through a live broadcast on Kick where he pointed to his ex-wife, the Thai Yuyee, whom he helped while she was in prison and to get out of it after being convicted of cocaine possession, and to her new partner, Chris Korn. And it seems that they would be behind the herpetologist losing his animal sanctuary in Thailand.

In the aforementioned Asian country, foreigners cannot own property in their own name, so the former couple reached an agreement to put it in Yuyee’s name and then pass it on to their two children: Zorro and Zape. A change that has not yet been made and now Frank de la Jungla’s ex-wife is asking him for what he says is an exorbitant amount for the rental of the space, valued at one million euros: about 3,5000 euros per month. A request that would have arrived at the same time as the divorce papers.

“Hard to explain”

The details of the situation were explained by the herpetologist himself in the live broadcast, which lasted for about forty minutes: “It is half past three in the morning. I have been sleeping very badly for quite some time. We all have concerns. This has been going on for a few months and has intensified in the last month. People may be confused, but it is something that is difficult to explain.”

“This shit is going to cost me my health. I can’t keep saying that everything is fine all the time. I have always protected my family, but there comes a time when I have to protect my children more than anyone else. A few years ago I decided to create a sanctuary, I bought it, put it in my ex-wife’s name and when necessary it would be put in the children’s name. Zorro came to Thailand for this and he couldn’t put it in my children’s name,” he explained, adding that he would be willing to create a new space if necessary.

“All this started for me when he started a new relationship. And suddenly the doubts started, the resentments, I don’t know if it was grudges, I don’t know if it was anything, but the sanctuary is not in Zorro’s name and I have been asked to pay 3,500 euros for rent,” he adds, and says that he doesn’t want to ask for financial help, not even from his friends with more possibilities: “For the people who are saying that your friend Dalas or your friend Plex will do it for you, they have already offered. From those people, what I want is, simply, for them to continue being what they are with me. For them to call you and send you a message, which is what friends do.”
