Despite his laid-back demeanor, it turns out that Sule also went through moments of almost giving up in life. This was disclosed by Nunung during their appearance as guest stars on Pagi Pagi Ambyar yesterday.

“When he shares his troubles with others, he doesn’t just confide in anyone. His desires to get married, to separate, to do this or that, he tells it all to me. When he confides in family problems like that, I am the only one who listens. When it comes to work, I give him support… he was almost at the brink,” said Nunung at the Trans TV studio on Jalan Kapten P Tendean, South Jakarta.

Nunung shared that Sule had considered selling his extravagant house when he was feeling desperate. However, she believed it was merely a momentary emotional impulse for Sule.

“He even thought of selling the house, of selling the palace. He wanted to move to the mountains, to leave everything behind. I told him, ‘Come on, you’re just emotional,’ I said. I said, ‘You have plenty of money, you can start a YouTube channel,'” she stated.

Of course, what Sule went through at that time was definitely not trivial. Sule clarified that he meant he wanted to sell his lavish house.

“Um, by selling it, I mean I want peace, not constantly looking at my phone because it distracts me from people… from many things. I want to be in the mountains, be peaceful like that, talk to monkeys like that, right?,” said Sule in his usual jovial manner.

The father of five acknowledged that he didn’t remain in that state for long. Sule indicated that he took to heart the advice given by Nunung.

“I didn’t stay in that state for long. That’s why I launched a program, with Mami Nunung, and I regained my enthusiasm,” he shared.

“That’s why now the palace has converted its swimming pool into a parking area, he constructed a luxurious studio for shooting YouTube videos, his podcasts. In the end, he regained his enthusiasm. Maybe now we don’t need television. Time is ticking, it’s time for the children,” Nunung added.

“When he confides in others, he doesn’t necessarily confide in others. He wants to get married, wants to separate, wants to do this, this, all to me. When he confides in problems like that, about family, I’m the only one who listens. When it comes to work, I give him… he almost gave up,” said Nunung at the Trans TV studio, Jalan Kapten P Tendean, South Jakarta.

Nunung said, Sule had wanted to sell his luxury house when he was almost desperate. However, he considered it only Sule’s momentary emotional desire.

“He even wanted to sell the house, he wanted to sell the sultan’s house. He wanted to live in the mountains, he wanted to leave everything. I said, ‘Come on, you’re just saying that because you’re emotional,’ I said. I said, ‘You have a lot of money, you can make YouTube,'” he said.

Of course what happened to Sule at that time was certainly not an ordinary thing. Sule explained that he meant he wanted to sell his luxury house.

“Um, what do you mean by selling it? I mean I want peace, I don’t hold my mobile phone anymore because it’s a distraction from people who… a lot of things. I want to be in the mountains, be quiet like that, talk to monkeys like that, right? ,” said Sule with his style of speech interspersed with jokes.

The father of five admitted that he was not at that point for long. Sule implied digesting the input given by Nunung.

“It wasn’t long (being at that point). That’s why I made a program, with Mami Nunung, I was enthusiastic again,” he said.

“That’s why now the sultan’s house has closed its swimming pool for parking, he built a really luxurious studio, for shooting YouTube, his podcast. Finally, he’s enthusiastic again. For now, maybe we don’t need TV. Time is running out, this is the time for children,” added Nunung.
