MG has unveiled details of the MG Cyberster, its next electric sports roadsterrrevealing that it will have two electric motors. Each dedicated to one axle and delivering power to all four wheels.

The MG Cyberster, MG Motors’ two-seater electric roadster concept has been buzzing since its initial concept unveiled in 2021. Its production version was presented a few months ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Today the company revealed all the technical characteristics of the vehicle. The electric car is expected to hit the Chinese and European market in 2024.

MG has unveiled details of the upcoming two-seater electric roadster. The latter will have two electric motors, each dedicated to an axle and delivering power to all four wheels. The electric vehicle displays a impressive peak power of 528 hp and a maximum torque of 725 Nm. Additionally, MG revealed that the roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. A 77 kWh lithium-ion battery will power the MG Cyberster. The latter offers a remarkable range of up to 570 km on a single charge.

MG also plans to introduce a slightly lighter iteration of the Cyberster, featuring a rear-wheel-drive configuration. This version of the electric vehicle will be equipped with a single engine producing more than 295 hp of maximum power. A smaller 64 kWh battery will power this motor. The RWD variant of the Cyberster is expected to offer a range of 519 km on a single charge.

The MG Cyberster sits on an all-new platform built around the 2017 E-Motion coupe concept. This car is characterized by stylish LED headlights with daytime running lights and an air intake below. It benefits from a sculpted hood, split air intake and upward swooping design. At the rear, it receives arrow-shaped lights and a two-piece rear diffuser.

On the side, the MG Cyberster electric sports rpadster features a sleek design. It features multiple cuts and creases worthy of an electric sports roadster. That’s not all, she has Alloy Wheels diamond cut ranging from 19 to 20 inches.

Regarding the additional specifications of the next electric sports car, it will be equipped with Brembo brakes with four-piston fixed calipers, accompanied by a robust roll bar. Inside the cabin there will be a Bose audio system. There will also be an infotainment setup with a touchscreen. The latter will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Moreover, the system will leverage Unreal Engine 4.0 graphics.
