The Ralph Lauren uniforms that the USA will wear at the Olympic Games

Just days before the opening of the Olympic Games, the United States has unveiled the uniforms that the American delegation will wear at the opening ceremony in Paris.

Designer Ralph Lauren unveiled what the American athletes’ wardrobe will be like for the Olympic Games, which will officially start on July 26 and end on Sunday, August 11.

For the opening ceremony, the competing delegations will parade in boats on the River Seine, wearing jeans and blue jackets with red and white stripes over a striped Oxford shirt. Men’s suits come with ties.

For the closing ceremony, the uniform will be a white racing-style jacket adorned with patches commemorating Team USA and each athlete’s sport. They will have white pants with “Team USA” on the left leg.

Designer’s career in the Olympics

This is the ninth time Ralph Lauren has designed Team USA’s uniform for the Olympic Games. Lauren participated in Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
