The Radom Local Government Pact led by Radosław Witkowski won the elections to the City Council

The Radom Local Government Pact of Radosław Witkowski, created before the elections by KO, Polska 2050, PSL, Nowa Lewica and the Bezpartyjni Radomians Association, won the elections to the City Council in Radom – according to data provided on Monday by the National Electoral Commission.

The Radom Local Government Pact led by Radosław Witkowski won 13 seats in the 25-person council, and PiS received 12 seats.

The current president of Radom, Radosław Witkowski (40.85%) and Artur Standowicz from PiS (24.9%) advanced to the second round of the presidential elections.

In this year’s local government elections, Radom residents elected not 28 councilors as in recent years, but 25. The loss of three seats is due to the drop in the number of inhabitants below the 200,000 mark.

PiS won the 2018 local elections in Radom. He received 16 seats in the 28-person council, 11 seats were held by the Electoral Committee of Radosław Witkowski’s Voters “Coalition for Change”, which included representatives of PO, Nowoczesna, SLD and other Radom circles. One mandate was given to a representative of the Bezpartyjni Radomians Committee.
