The Lakers might still be very active in the coming days, with the trade deadline fast approaching. But the competition won’t let them do it either… A franchise from the East will notably give them a battle over a star on the market.

Like the Purples and Golds, Miami does not have a lot of assets to convince the Bulls to give it to them. But it is true that a doublet composed of him and Jimmy Butler (himself a former Chi-Town player) might be very interesting, South Beach wishing to fight for the title following reaching the conference finals last year. Zach LaVine is going to be one of the hottest files in the NBA between now and the trade deadline, with several big names in the ranks to get him back. It remains to be seen who will be the lucky one among the Lakers, the Heat or another franchise… if he leaves the Bulls of course.
