Reacting to Umar Akmal being sentenced to three years by the Pakistan Cricket Board, wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal says that the punishment given to my brother is very severe.
Talking to private TV, Kamran Akmal further said that he will go to every platform for justice, he will definitely use the right of appeal.
The wicketkeeper-batsman said that in the past there are examples of lesser punishments for similar violations, but Umar Akmal was given such a severe punishment, which is a cause of surprise for him.
It should be noted that Pakistan cricket team’s middle order batsman Umar Akmal has been banned for 3 years in the spot-fixing case.
Talking to the Indian media, he further said that Umar struggled for three to four years to get into the team, our previous team management did not allow him to play and these things are not good for any player including Umar.

He further said that if the basis on which Umar Akmal was suspended is correct and the board has solid evidence, then he should have been banned for life.
He said that Umar Akmal and us have been abused a lot by imposing a three-year ban, but we cannot fight and can only appeal against this decision.
The case against right-handed batsman Umar Akmal was heard by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel at the National Cricket Academy, Justice (Retd) Fazl-e-Meeran Chauhan.
Justice (Rtd) Fazal Meeran Chauhan gave a short verdict in the case and banned him from playing cricket for 3 years.
Middle-order batsman Umar Akmal did not inform the relevant authorities about the offer of fixing and links in time. Later, notice of charge was issued to Umar Akmal for violating Article 2.4.4 of the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct twice. was
