A giant screen fell on stage during a major concert by the famous “Boy Band Mirror” in Hong Kong, seriously injuring two dancers, one of them seriously, according to Archyde.com.

Li said the government will investigate and review safety measures to protect performers, staff and the public.

None of the band members were hurt, in the accident, which took place at the Hong Kong Coliseum near Victoria Harbour.

The city government had ordered the band, which was regarding to perform 12 shows at the same venue, to postpone its upcoming shows.

Culture Minister Kevin Young said performances were suspended until it was confirmed the theater was safe.

And he added, in a media briefing on Friday, “From the initial observation, the reason for the fall of the screen was a rupture of one of the wires tightening it, which led to its fall and caused injury to the dancers.”

The hugely popular boy band Mirror was formed in 2018 with a reality TV show.

More than 13,000 fans of the band have signed an online petition asking the concert organizer for Boy Band Mirror to fix the malfunction and ensure everyone’s safety.
