It all starts with a judicial summons served on June 28 to the mayor of Le Gosier and president of CARL as part of a preliminary investigation opened on the grounds of “concealment of abuse of corporate assets, embezzlement of public funds and active and passive corruption. “. An investigation entrusted to the economic and financial section of the Territorial Service of the Judicial Police of Guadeloupe.
The interested party is therefore summoned for July 19 at 9 a.m. and does not contest it.

However, this Tuesday, on the day and at the scheduled time, the man did not respond to his summons. The investigators even receive a phone call from a person who identifies himself as his lawyer and who lets them know that he does not intend to answer it.

The Public Prosecutor Patrick Desjardins therefore authorized the police to go to the places where Cédric Cornet might be in order to bring him back to justice to respond to the summons duly received.

A version that the mayor of Gosier disputes in his press release published on social networks and which provoked the written reaction of the prosecution.

And now, it is a search warrant that has been issued once morest him by the Pointe-à-Pître prosecution justifying that he be arrested regardless of where he is now.

The mayor of Gosier, however, agreed to answer questions from Guadeloupe the 1st
