“We respond to what Mr. Mitsotakis says with our anxiety and our effort. We will shake you into legitimacy with our ongoing institutional initiatives.” With this phrase in his intervention in the Plenary Session of the Parliament, Nikos Androulakis marked the initiatives of PASOK-Movement of Change for the full investigation of the accident in Tempi.
The reason for the intervention of the president of PASOK-Movement of Change was the surprise judicial raid on the OSE headquarters and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ criticism of the opposition for cultivating toxicity.
“We heard the prime minister denouncing the toxicity in the country’s political life. The man who is the protagonist of toxicity denounces toxicity, when we constantly see the triptych: Corruption, cover-up, impunity. And, of course, he “sacrificed” them – as he did with Mr. Dimitriadis a few years ago – in order not to burden himself with these issues”, was his sharp reference.
He also explained how he went last Monday to the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, and filed a report on the contentious issue of the motion of no confidence, which, as he claimed, “is nothing more than a “toxic hand” at the time of the crime of Tempe with the 57 dead fellow human beings, it was a priority to get the audios, copper them and give them to a friendly mass media.
And while the judiciary had done nothing for a year, we learn that yesterday the appellant investigator, Sotiris Bakaimis, by his order, made it possible to raid the headquarters of the OSE on Karolou Street and to confiscate hard drives with the original audios, related to the tragedy of Tempe”.
He added how “the prime minister must understand that we are coming to the Hellenic Parliament to respond to a social request: To the Greek people’s thirst for truth, transparency and justice. He will find us constantly once morest him, as long as he himself serves corruption, cover-up and impunity.”
Mr. Androulakis assessed how “every day our institutional initiatives bring results, compared to what he was used to in previous years, shows, populism and toxicity”.
