The police discovered, early Monday evening, the lifeless body of a woman in her fifties in her home on rue du Petit Lannoy in Saint-Léger, in the Estaimpuis area. Called by the victim’s companion, the emergency services might not do anything to save the victim who was unfortunately already deceased.
In the night, investigations were carried out by the local police research service in the Val d’Escaut area. A team from the laboratory of the federal judicial police also descended on the spot in order to carry out peripheral duties.
