A millionaire who made headlines for eating cat food to save money is back in the spotlight.

The British Daily Star introduced the story of American billionaire Amy Elizabeth on the 4th (local time).

Amy drew attention by appearing in the TV show ‘Extreme Chipskates’ (The Great Miser) aired on the American cable channel TLC.

His net worth is 5.3 million dollars, which is about 6.7 billion won in Korean money.

To save money, Amy cooks with canned cat food, which is cheaper than regular canned tuna.

The Daily Star reported an interview with Amy’s friend while introducing the broadcast in which Amy appeared.

A friend of Amy’s told the Daily Star, “Amy invited me to eat a tuna sandwich, but it tasted fishy. I looked in the kitchen and saw an empty cat can.”

Amy was even shown taking a cold shower to reduce boiler use on the Extreme Chip Skates show.

Amy’s ex-husband, Michael Murray, said that he gave the house to Amy because he was concerned about living in a small place after the divorce because he was saving money.

Emphasizing that a can of cat is 59 cents (about 750 won) apiece, Amy said, “I bought it because it was cheaper than canned tuna.”
