The… procedures are underway for statute of limitations on unconfirmed debts of a decade or more!

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis, gave an order to immediately “run” the examination of citizens’ applications for the statute of limitations of unconfirmed debts, beyond ten years, as long as they fall under the conditions of the law, to the administration and officials of the EFKA and the KEAO in their yesterday’s meeting, while additional supplementary training of the competent officials for the processing of the relevant applications has already started a few days ago. In the last few days, it has been observed the phenomenon of the gathering of several applications throughout Greece for the limitation of debts, beyond ten years, for which the examination has not been completed. Therefore, in order to speed up the relevant procedures, a series of interventions were launched, with the aim of speeding up the examination of the requests. “The goal is for the image to have improved significantly within the next month and for the citizens to immediately receive the answer that EFKA owes them”, said the minister, and by association you are tempted to exclaim… Oh, and there were elections every year!
