This Sunday around 1:45 p.m., someone alerted the firefighters of the Hemeco rescue zone to a major fire at the Priory of Amay.
You can see the flames from the Grand-Place d’Amay or even further, as the fire has grown.
Access to the site being complicated given the narrowness of the rue des Larrons and the vegetation, the firefighters have difficulty accessing the Priory and the fire has already reached the roof of the building.
