CHRIS Pine admits he still doesn’t know his fate in Princess Diaries 3 which will soon be produced. He previously played the role of Nicholas Deveraux in the film The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.
In an interview on Today with Hoda & Jenna, Pine gave a brief answer about the possibility of returning to play Mia Thermopolis‘ (Anne Hathaway) girlfriend in the Princes Diaries sequel.
“I don’t know anything,” said Pine, as reported by People.

“You don’t know anything? You had a big role in it,” countered host Bush Hager.
The hosting duo continually pressed Pine with similar questions, emphasizing the importance of the actor’s role in Princess Diaries 2.
However, Pine insisted that he didn’t know what his fate would be in this third film. He then jokingly asked people to contact Disney boss Bob Iger to recruit him.

He also emphasized that he had no information about the project, but appreciated and was sure that the third Princess Diaries film would be very impressive.
“That’s so sweet. Call Disney. Call Bob Iger,” Pine said.
“To be honest, I don’t know anything about it. I think it’s amazing,” he added.

Pine’s statement comes days after Anne Hathaway confirmed that production on The Princess Diaries 3 is underway.
She also confirmed that she would return to play her iconic character, Mia Thermopolis, who is the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Genovia.
Hathaway also revealed that the long-awaited project will be directed by Adele Lim, who previously worked on the films Crazy Rich Asians, Joy Ride, and Raya and the Last Dragon.

“Miracles happen!! Back to Genovia with Adele Lim and Disney. The fairy tale continues,” wrote Hathaway on Instagram.
Princess Diaries 3 has been in development since 2022. Last year, Hathaway provided an update on the development of this long-awaited film in an interview with V Magazine.
It has been announced that Flora Greeson will be the scriptwriter for the third film The Princess Diaries.
Until now, there is no further information regarding the old actors who will return to play in The Princess Diaries 3.
Plot details for this film have not been officially announced, but it is hoped that it will continue the story of The Princess Diaries, which was released in 2001, as well as its sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, which aired in 2004. (Z-1)
