The wonderful play “The Princess and the Clown of the King”, from the fairy tale “The Birthday of the Infanta” by Oscar Wilde, comes to life on stage, adapted and directed by Giorgos Fratzeskakis.
The inventive direction, the beautiful costumes, the impressive scenery and the exquisite melodies unfold a story, giving children a unique performance full of music, dance, song and laughter. It gives children the opportunity to recognize values such as: love, emotion, hope, kindness and the beauty of the soul.
A few words about the project
The king of Spain organizes a big celebration in honor of his little daughter Infanta who has her birthday. To entertain her he invites a young bullfighter, a shadow theater from Greece, two dreamy gypsies and a mysterious man with two faces.
Suddenly, an evil little creature, Judges, appears, who dances in front of the princess and presents her with a necklace. Infanta is charmed by his kindness. A tender relationship of friendship and love develops between them.
A show-festival that children from 3 years old can watch.
