The Prime Minister receives the Chairman and members of the Independent Elections Commission

His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, received today, Wednesday, at the Prime Ministry, the Elders of the Independent National Elections Commission, headed by Mr. Dah Ould Abdel Jalil.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Prime Minister congratulated the members of the committee for choosing them for the task of supervising the upcoming electoral events, which are distinguished by the multiplicity of ballots, the large number of candidate lists, and the bifurcation of the participating political spectrum.

He stressed that the state will spare no effort to help organize the upcoming electoral events in the best conditions.

In turn, the Chairman of the Independent National Elections Commission thanked the government for constantly keeping up with the committee’s work in the various stages of preparing the upcoming elections, stressing that it had contributed to overcoming difficulties and facilitating dealing with all preparation developments.

The meeting took place in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed El-Amine, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet, Ms. Aish Val Farges, the Adviser to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mrs. Hind Bint Einaina, the Adviser to the Prime Minister in charge of Information and Communication, Mr. Ahmed Ould Al-Salik, and the Adviser to the Prime Minister in charge Mr. Gallo Ammar Amadou, the advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of decentralization and territorial reclamation, Mr. Mohamed El Mokhtar Mohamed Abdallah Blatty, in the public service and the modernization of administration and reform.
