The Prime Minister indicated that this meeting comes within the framework of the continuous follow-up of the projects aimed at developing and developing the northwestern coast regions, in an effort to make them more attractive to urbanization and development, and to take advantage of the potentials and capabilities of those regions, which make them a global tourist destination, in implementation of the President’s directives. The Prime Minister pointed out that today’s meeting aims to agree on the various steps related to the new city of Ras al-Hikma, within the framework of the state’s interest in developing the northern coast, according to planning principles and standards that ensure the optimal exploitation of this region.
Ambassador Nader Saad, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that during the meeting, they reviewed the work that had been done related to the infrastructure and facilities in the new city of Ras al-Hikma, as well as the proposed plans for land use in it, and the various activities to be established on those lands, in a way that contributes to attracting more investors. Local and foreign investments for this promising region, in a way that supports the state’s efforts to develop the northern and western coast regions.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers added that during the meeting, agreement was reached on the final borders of the new city of Ras al-Hikma, in a way that contributes to accelerating the pace of implementing the targeted development aspects of that region, while emphasizing the importance of encouraging and attracting the private sector to participate in the development of the city, as well as working to strengthen the role of Residents and people of the region in the development processes that are scheduled to include many sectors, and to involve them more in the projects that are being implemented, in addition to working to establish an integrated Bedouin village in the region, in a way that contributes to raising the standard of living of the residents of that region, and improving the level of services provided. them in different sectors.
