New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that there is no national lock down. The Prime Minister also suggested that the post-Kovid restrictions should not affect the lives of the people. He said the vaccine was the main weapon once morest the virus.

The Prime Minister said that Kovid might survive this time as he had survived the last two years and instructed the states to stop the spread. The Prime Minister said that Omicron was expanding faster than the previous variants. Local restrictions should be imposed in areas where Kovid spread is severe. The Prime Minister said that maximum care should be taken not to let the restrictions affect the common people. The Prime Minister conveyed the message that the national lockdown was not under discussion.

Ensure that those receiving home care receive proper treatment. The center has set up telemedicine facilities for this purpose. The Prime Minister also assessed the hospital facilities in the states. The Prime Minister said the units needed to treat children and the millions of oxygen beds were ready. Home vaccination should be intensified. The Prime Minister lauded the health workers and Asha workers for the fact that more than three crore teenagers have been vaccinated.
