The price of the dollar falls again in the Cuban informal market. Exchange rates 2024-07-13 20:16:45

Today, Thursday, the informal currency market in Cuba has registered a new movement in the price of the US dollar.

According to the most recent data shared by the Toque platform, the dollar has dropped five pesos, standing at $335.00 CUP. This variation breaks with the stability that had been maintained in the last three days.

The euro, for its part, remains constant at $350.00 CUP, unchanged from the previous day. This momentary stability contrasts with the fluctuations observed in previous weeks. The Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) also remains unchanged, trading at $295.00 CUP. A value that has remained stable for several consecutive days, below 300 pesos, the level where it has remained most stable in recent weeks. It is important to note that, although the dollar has experienced a fall, in some groups buying and selling foreign currency in Cuba, offers are still being found for less than $335.00 CUP. This indicates a downward trend.
