The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin has risen 0.1% to $40,449 since 5 p.m. Friday, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News today.
Bitcoin prices fluctuated an average of 1%, trading between $40,302 and $40,696.
It is now down 41% from its November 10 high of $68,992.
Bitcoin added 1.5 percent to its value last week and is down 13 percent so far this year.
