The price of gold fell today, Wednesday, in Egypt during trading, and the gram decreased by 15 pounds at once, compared to its level in the morning, according to Naguib Naguib, the former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold fell 80 pounds at the beginning of today’s trading, and it continued its decline during trading, bringing the value of the decline to 95 pounds so far.
Gold prices witnessed a significant increase in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine, before it jumped more during the past two days with the rise in the price of the dollar once morest the pound.
