The price of gold fell today, Wednesday, in Egypt in the middle of trading, and a gram fell by 50 pounds, compared to its level at the beginning of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.

The price of a gram of gold fell by 50 pounds at the beginning of trading, and continued to decline by the same value in the middle of trading, bringing the total decrease to 100 pounds per gram so far.

14-karat gold prices fell to 2,000 pounds per gram.

The price of 18 karat gold was regarding 2571 pounds per gram.

The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,000 pounds per gram.

The price of 24 carat gold reached regarding 3429 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to regarding 24 thousand pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

The price of gold globally fell to regarding $2,028 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to regarding 31.1 grams of 24 karat gold), in the middle of Wednesday’s trading, with a decline of $3.09, or 0.15%, compared to its level at the end of yesterday’s trading session, according to Bloomberg data.
