The price of gold stabilized today, Thursday, in Egypt, during evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, despite its rise globally, due to the decline in the dollar against the pound today, according to Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
Today, the price of the dollar decreased by 4 piasters in the National Bank, to record 18.28 pounds for purchase, and 18.38 pounds for sale.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 10 pounds at the beginning of today’s trading.
Gold prices have seen big jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.

14 karat gold prices stabilized at 657 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold was about 844 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold reached 985 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold was about 1126 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound settled at 7880 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.

The global price of gold rose in the middle of today’s session, Thursday, to about $ 1965 an ounce, an increase of 1.07%, at 4:45 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg Agency data.
