The price of gold plunged today, Monday, in Egypt, during trading, and the gram fell 150 pounds, compared to its level in the middle of trading, with the metal increasing globally, according to Naguib Club, former secretary general of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
The price of a gram of gold fell 75 pounds at the beginning of trading, before it rose once more with the same value in the middle of trading, and then fell once more during trading.

14 karat gold prices fell to 1100 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold decreased to 1414 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold fell to 1650 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 carat gold fell to 1886 pounds per gram.
