The price of gold rose today, Saturday, in Egypt, by about 15 pounds during today’s trading, compared to its prices during morning trading, according to what Naguib Club, Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce previously said.
And the price of a gram of gold fell by more than 15 pounds during yesterday’s trading, affected by the decline in the price of the metal globally.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 726 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold rose to 934 pounds per gram
And the price of 21 karat gold increased to 1090 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 karat gold was about 1245 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound jumped to 8720 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
The price of gold today globally
The global price of gold fell by 1.03% at the end of trading yesterday – the last sessions of the week – to $1931.6 an ounce, according to Bloomberg Agency data.
