The price of gold fell today, Saturday, in Egypt, at the beginning of trading, at a value of 4 pounds per gram, with the price of the metal declining globally.
The global gold price fell by 1.09%, at the end of trading yesterday – the last sessions of the week, to remain below the level of 1921 dollars for an ounce.
Gold prices witnessed major jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine, before a significant decline during yesterday’s trading due to the decline in global prices.

14 karat gold prices fell to 593 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold fell to 762 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold fell to 889 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 carat gold fell to 1016 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 7,112 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
