During the last week of June, its price fell by 0.8 cents, to stand today at €2.08 per liter, according to the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

The government rebate in effect until the end of the year?

Note that a government rebate of 18 cents per liter has been in effect since April 1. A few days ago, in an interview with Les Échos, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy and Gabriel Attal, Minister of Action and Public Accounts, mentioned the possibility of extending this aid at the pump until the end of the year 2022, “if economic conditions require it“.
