During trading on February 16, the price of bitcoin reached $24,698 by 06:30 Moscow time. Cryptocurrency exchange rate increased by 11.7%, data show Coindesk. By 06:35 Moscow time, the growth in the cost of bitcoin accelerated by 11.82, to $24.707 thousand.
In 2022, the loss ratio of bitcoin was 62.8% with long-term investments. With speculative investments, it was possible to receive income up to 45%. According to experts, the share of bitcoins in the portfolios of Russian investors in 2022 was lower than their share in the global market.
