“I especially appreciate the cooperation between our countries in the field of defense. I am sure that, despite the changes in the Polish political arena, the strategic partnership and cooperation between our countries will remain intense and effective”, says G. Nausėda.

Poland won its independence on November 11, 1918, after being erased from the European map for 123 years following the three partitions of the joint state with Lithuania by Czarist Russia, Prussia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
