The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov signed the Decree “On the appointment of early elections of a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Leninsky single-mandate constituency No. 26”. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
“In connection with the early termination of the powers of the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Leninsky single-mandate constituency No. 26 Abirov Zhanybek Bolotbekovich, guided by paragraph 2 of part 2 of article 70 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, articles 59, 65 of the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the election of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic”, it is decided:
To appoint early elections of a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Leninsky single-mandate constituency No. 26 of the seventh convocation on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic shall organize the holding of elections in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic:
1) allocate the necessary financial resources for holding elections in accordance with the cost estimate approved by the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2) to assist the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic in ensuring the cybersecurity of electronic information systems used in the electoral process, data exchange through an electronic interdepartmental interaction system, uninterrupted and secure communication channels for conducting data transfer processes specified by law, forming a list of voters and updating its data on the basis of the Unified State Population Register;
3) ensure, in accordance with the established procedure, the implementation of other measures arising from the legislation governing the holding of elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the preparation and conduct of elections to ensure compliance with the Constitution and laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
5. To assist the Mayor of Bishkek in the work of the relevant executive bodies and election commissions in the formation and updating of the list of voters, solving organizational and logistical issues in the preparation and conduct of elections.”
