The President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce calls for moving towards German companies in the field of construction

The head of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, called on the government to turn towards German companies in the field of construction and infrastructure development, while stressing that Iraq needs to develop trade relations with Germany.

And the media of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “a delegation from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Iraqi Industries participated in the meetings between the two parties during the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to Berlin, and the signing of a number of strategic cooperation agreements between the two countries and the expansion of the field of cooperation In all sectors and intra-trade exchange, in order for the two countries to become true strategic partners in all fields.
He added, “The Iraqi trade delegation sought to encourage German companies and businessmen to invest in Iraq, especially since Iraq now needs a comprehensive reconstruction of all sectors, and to develop trade relations with Germany, especially as it comes at the forefront of developed countries at the industrial and agricultural levels and the production of goods.” And he praised the efforts of the Iraqi government delegation to clarify the capabilities, capabilities and wealth that our country enjoys, and the difficulties and crises that it suffered from over the past forty years.
The delegation wished for the start of a new phase of commercial relations, the exchange of visits between Iraqi and German merchants and businessmen, and the development of new commercial regulations that serve both parties. Due to the depth of the historical relationship between the two friendly countries, and Iraq’s endeavor to develop relations with it, especially in the economic aspect.
Al-Zuhairi said, according to the statement, that “there is a pivotal role for the head of the Iraqi Federation of Industries, Adel Akab, in stating the real desire to cooperate with the German side in attracting German factories and activating partnership contracts and expertise to develop industrial capabilities.”
A delegation consisting of eighteen Iraqi merchants and industrialists participated in the meetings that took place in Berlin and resulted in the signing of a number of agreements.
