The return of France Inter is taking shape. Comedian Charline Vanhoenacker’s daily show, which is stopping and becoming a weekly, journalist Marc Fauvelle, who is taking over as news director: the major maneuvers for next season have begun on the country’s leading radio station. Sibyle Veil, the boss of the public radio group, confided in the Parisian regarding the new features awaiting France Inter listeners.
The radio has recruited three women – including the editorial director of Konbini Marie Misset, the sex columnist Maïa Mazaurette and the comedian Marine Baousson – to occupy the daily box of 5-6 p.m. The new show, whose name has not yet been chosen, will replace that of the “Belgians” band, led by Charline Vanhoenacker for ten seasons, with 1.25 million listeners, and now only broadcast on Sundays. “It wouldn’t have occurred to me to go to weekly […]it was a proposal that was made to me, we will adapt ”, had regretted the host in mid-May, following losing her daily morning ticket last year.
“White Inter”
Sibyle Veil returned to this controversial decision. “It’s a bogus trial. […]. We wanted a format that is more like what they have become. Every Sunday, they will tour throughout France for a two-hour show in public […]. That’s not the definition of a funeral, you’ll agree. Asked regarding the motivations for this choice, the 45-year-old leader claims to have always protected the freedom of tone. “Not because it’s always fun for me, but because it’s a visible marker of the independence of public service media. “READ ALSO The false revolution of France Inter
Waly Dia, columnist on the show It’s us once more, had scolded the station explaining that it was going to become “Blanche Inter”. Sibyle Veil ensures for her part that “diversity is a real subject of concern for the media and for [elle], but France Inter is a pretty good student. Journalist Patrick Cohen, who hosted a Sunday program on France Culture, has announced that he will be leaving Radio France this summer. While his recruitment for the morning of France Info was almost completed, it has not been confirmed. This is the candidacy of Jérôme Chapuis, editorial director of the daily The cross, which was ultimately accepted.
