The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the opening of Banke Settlement No. 2 secondary school with 420 students, which was built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Neftchala district on April 18.

It was reported that the school building was built in 1960. A new building was built for this educational institution as it fell into disrepair during the past period.
The three-story school building, consisting of five buildings, is fully equipped with necessary furniture and equipment, classrooms and laboratories with visual aids.
The school building has 18 classrooms, physics, chemistry, biology laboratories, informatics, military training, medicine, labor training rooms, library, canteen, auditorium and sports halls, as well as an outdoor sports field.
The yard of the school has been landscaped, greening works have been carried out.
