The general secretary of the Popular Party of Castilla y León, Francisco Vázquez, affirmed that the Government delegate in the Community, Virginia Barcones, is “the one who must tighten the screws on Sánchez so that he remembers that Zamora is on the map”. alluding to the development of the ‘Puerta del Noroeste’ industrial estate project in Benavente (Zamora).
“Virginia Barcones does not find out what is happening in Zamora and Benavente. The infrastructure of the Logistics Center does not belong to the regional government, but to the municipal one. It is the City Council that has to meet the deadlines and the one that has to comply with what was agreed and ask the Government of Spain for its collaboration in the infrastructure ”, she assured.
Francisco Vázquez made these statements in response to those formulated yesterday by Barcones on the Northwest Gate and the Territorial Development Plan. The Government delegate went to Benavente to preside over the Territorial Assistance Commission, in which the nine sub-delegates from Castilla y León participated.
“Pedro Sánchez’s messenger in Castilla y León once once more has the opportunity to defend this land or Sánchez and, for the umpteenth time, she chooses Pedro Sánchez. We have seen it when they tax us, when they despise our farmers and ranchers, when we get the worst budgets in all of Spain and we see it now, with Benavente and the Puerta del Noroeste industrial estate, ”she pointed out.
“One of two, or Mrs. Barcones knows what is happening and lies or is totally uninformed,” he said.
In this context, Francisco Vázquez, who pointed out that the regional government “can increase its initial contribution by more than 63 percent” in the Puerta del Noroeste, considered that the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, it is “the only one that has complied and is complying with all the commitments assumed in the Territorial Development Plan” and added: “We are talking regarding the Northwest Gate and more projects of relevance to the province of Zamora,” reports Ical.
