The horror film Possession: Possession, from the Falcon Black production house, is scheduled to be screened simultaneously in Indonesian cinemas starting May 8 2024.
According to a press release from Falcon Black, quoted Wednesday (10/4), Possession: Possession is an adaptation of the gripping French horror film entitled Possession.
The director of the film Possession: Possession, Robby Ertanto, said that in an effort to create a tense atmosphere, film shooting always starts at night.
He also shared the tense experience during the process of filming several scenes in the film.

“There were several big scenes when blocking a building to be used as a hotel set and making it rain, and one of the characters had to get out in the rain, it was really an experience that gave the whole team involved goosebumps,” he said.
The story in the film Possession: Possession centers on the character Faris (Darius Sinathrya), who has just returned from months of military service and is immediately greeted with a request for divorce from his wife, Ratna (Carissa Perusset).
Feeling suspicious, Faris investigated the reasons why his wife asked for a divorce, including the possibility that she was having an affair. However, he actually found things that made no sense and were scary.

Apart from presenting scary scenes and visual effects, Possession: Possession shows psychological terror and human fear due to loss, past trauma, and doubts in the people closest to them.
“My character is a woman who loses her mind, but also a woman who is affected by the hurtful qualities of men,” said Carissa Perusset, who plays Ratna.
Apart from Darius Sinathrya and Carissa Perusset, Arswendy Beningswara and Nugie also played roles in the film whose script was written by Lele Laila. (Ant/Z-1)
