The rehabilitation of this 17-hectare space was launched following a reflection carried out in 2017. Called “green thread”, the project creates a green connection on the territory of Porto.
“A green setting in an urban city” explains the city council of the Port, a secure place, open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The development of the site, with islands for children’s games, kiosks enhanced by artistic creations, a waterfall and nearly 2,200 planted trees, aims to once once more attract the population that has been avoiding the park for some time.
Thus, the first part of the Boisé Park, the green part, delivered today, was thought “as a place of life and breathing, dedicated to relaxation, cultural and sporting activities” explains Olivier Hoarau, the mayor of the town.
The blue part, which concerns the water park and the activities related to it, will be launched later.
The development of the site cost three million euros with state aid.
This is in music and with festivities the whole weekend that the inauguration of the new Parc Boisé takes place.
All this Saturday, spaces for creating visual art, well-being workshops, reading corners and musical entertainment.
Tomorrow Sunday, there will be activities dedicated to children and concerts with Kalipsxau, Black T, Léa Churros or even PLL and T Matt.
