The port of Sousse welcomes tourists again after a 10-year suspension

The regional delegate of Tourism in Sousse Taoufik Gaied indicated that the region welcomed this Tuesday, nearly 57 tourists of different European nationalities who came on board the ship MS Island Sky.

In a statement to TAP, the regional manager explained that this crossing is the first following a ten-year suspension. This is one of the first crossings scheduled by MSC towards Tunisia, he added.

A rich program has been concocted for the benefit of tourists who have chosen the Sousse destination including a visit to the old town scheduled for the followingnoon.

Excursions to Kairouan and the city of El Jem are also planned, indicates the same source, which specifies that the ship will continue its crossing on Wednesday May 4 to the port of La Goulette to offer tourists a tour of the city of Tunis.
