The Pope denounces that man has “enslaved” nature

Vatican Metropolis, Jun 27 (EFE).- Pope Francis denounced that nature “is enslaved and unable to do what it was designed to do” on account of “the abuses of man,” in a message printed Thursday on the event of the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation.

“The complete cosmos and each creature groan and yearn for the current situation to be overcome and the unique one to be restored,” the Pope writes in his message, wherein he stresses that the creatures of nature “have been subjected to the yoke of slavery.”

He explains that “like humanity, creation – by way of no fault of its personal – is enslaved and incapable of doing what it was designed to do, that’s, to have lasting that means and objective; “it’s topic to dissolution and demise, aggravated by human abuse of nature.”

Francis factors out the hope that sooner or later it is going to be “doable to ponder with hope the bond of solidarity between human beings and all different creatures,” however he factors out that for them it’s essential to eradicate “the vanity of those that need to dominate others and nature.”
