The Pont du Gard, a Roman building listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, adorned itself Monday evening with the colors of Ukraine, invaded by Russia. A choice that echoes the many French cities that have redecorated emblematic places in blue and yellow in recent days.

A masterpiece of ancient architecture, the Pont du Gard, located regarding thirty kilometers east of Nîmes, is one of the best preserved Roman remains in the world.
